The NSBA School Health Programs unit has established Health Link, a bimonthly e-newsletter, as a service to state school boards associations. Health Link was created to help school policymakers stay abreast of current issues in student health and to support their efforts to keep students healthy and ready to learn by establishing successful school health policies and practices.

Sample Amendments to Standard Construction Contracts is an educational/training CD of school-specific sample amendments to six common AIA construction contracts. These sample amendments are designed to assist school attorneys in their work with school districts. The goal is to improve every school district's ability to provide excellent educational facilities in the most cost-effective manner. This flyer was developed to market and sell the CD to school attorneys nationally.

SYC Boca

The U-15 SYC Boca (rising U-16 for Fall 2010) began competition as a travel team only five years ago, at the U-11 age level. Although a relatively young travel team, Boca has advanced through ODSL and NCSL divisions each season to their current position in Div. 1 NCSL. The team boasts a dynamic, attacking style of play, utilizing strong possession skills as well as skillful individual technique in developing an approach to the game that is exciting and fun to watch.

Legal Clips is a service of the National School Boards Association’s Office of General Counsel and the NSBA Council of School Attorneys. This free service provides thousands of subscribers with weekly updates on important and interesting school law issues, as well as helpful resources. I've worked on several iterations of this newsletter over its lifetime. Currently it is a custom MailChimp RSS-to-Email template. Legal Clips is also now available as a daily blog.
