Helen and Menelaus

As for Helen, Menelaus had intended to slay her for her infidelity. Many in the Greek army wished him to do just that. But one sight of her beauty was enough to change his mind. Helen even convinced Menelaus that she did not willingly go with Paris. The two embraced, and Helen was forgiven. They traveled on safely to Sparta where they lived happily together.
