		<description>I wholeheartedly agree.  This has been a pet peeve of mine for many years.
Spin has bad connotations in my book.  So, I think that needs to be avoided.  As a Scientist (especially those that receive public funding), it&#039;s our job and duty to communicate our findings with the public in a manner that they can understand.  That goes double if it has policy implications. 
Too much arrogance in the Ivory Towers that house our current crop of &#039;scientists&#039;.</description>
