Lamellar on Ronin and Parseltongue whispers,
bright copper scales and sharp spiny whiskers,
Jedi mind tricks; force-sensitive younglings,
these are a few of my favorite things.

Pearlescent unicorns and caffeine by the kilo,
dwarf beards and elf ears and marathons of Willow,
Griffons that fly with the wind in their wings,
These are a few of my favorite things.

Girls in cosplay that leaves little to imagine,
creatures fantastic; did I mention dragons?
winter is coming; prepare for a Clash of Kings,
these are a few of my favorite things.

When vampires bite, when the siren sings,
when we’re geeking out,
I simply remember my favorite things,
and then I don’t feel any doubt.
